I am doing my first Triathalon and need some clothing advice?

As i said above its my first and i don't know what kind of wet suit to buy. Is there such a thing as a suit that covers all 3 disciplines or is it better to get out of the wet suit and into new clothes for the cycle??





Any suggestions of places to buy in the South East area of the Uk would be good, im 40 Min's from London. Or just general tips and hints would be really appricated!

Speaking from experience, I think you would find it a bit uncomfortable running and biking in a wet suit. They are designed, obviously, to keep the water out but also to keep your body heat in and therefore, when you run and cycle and start to sweat, not only will you be extremely uncomfortable but your body won't be able to cool down. Bear in mind, however, that wetsuits are only needed if swimming in a lake, the sea or river and not in pools.


I'm afraid, as I live in the North I can't recommend any good shops where you are but try going on the internet and seeing which type of wetsuit is recommended. A good website is TRI247.com which has some useful info.


Underneath your wetsuit, you need your cycling shorts and cycle vest as you will be able to do both running and cycling disciplines in these without having to make several changes of clothes. You may find it more comfortable to wear running shorts rather than cycling shorts as the padding in cycle shorts may hinder you slightly - it is the lesser of two evils I suppose: being hindered or having a sore bum after being on the bike!

Im confused...I just graduated high school and I am not sure what I want to be in the future, any advice?

What makes you happy? What are you good at? Also, you could just go get your generals done in college, then see what sticks out to you. OR, while looking at colleges, interview with counselors and see what they think.

As soon as you get your class schedule be sure to scout out where the classrooms are. On my first day I wandered around a building looking for room 170 and it turned out it was the auditorium and didn't have the number on it. If they are available always buy used books. When you have to write a term paper find one book on the subject and read it, then go to the library and find other books on the subject that haven't been checked out in years and claim them as a source. Be sure to do your homework Monday through Thursday so you have time to party on Friday and Saturday night. Learn how to do your own laundry and balance a check book before you go to college, and memorize your social security number because you will use it all the time. And get a small refrigerator and microwave and avoid eating in the dining hall.





I almost forgot! Be sure you know who makes up the test, the professor or the TA. If the professor makes up the test then most of the questions will come from the lecture notes, if the TA makes up the test then the answers will come from the book. And at some point the professor will say ';I wish I had time to go into that subject but...'; and base your term paper upon the subject he wants to cover, if you do a good enough job it's an easy A even with the hardest grader.What is your advice to a High School student going to College next year as a first year?
My advice would be to get to know the campus. Get to class ahead of time because classes would be so full you have trouble finding a seat... kinda embarrassing lol. But all I could really say is to make sure what your major and minors are so you won't waste your time taking extra classes. BE ON TOP OF IT!!! Trust me! ANd just don't mess up please... Good luck!
Don't take a lab at 2:00pm on Friday...LOL I did that my first semester in college.





But really, study hard, but enjoy college. The time you spend in college, just may be some of the best years of your life. Make the best of it and ENJOY IT!

I cant be myself around a guy that i fancy at school???? any advice?

LOL @ Char. I wish I could use the words ';fancy'; and ';mates'; too. They sound so elegant.





I was like you when I first met the man I'm married to, and I was a lot older than you. If you catch his eye, say hi, so at least he knows you're not staring at him because there is something wrong with him.





You can't do too much more than that until he starts to talk to you. So after you say ';hi, how are you?'; leave him in peace and just be with your friends as if he weren't there. If you really like someone, be friendly, but respect him enough to let him make the next move if he's going to.

Girl you got it bad!!! If you like him that much you need to remember to be yourself though. If you keep acting this way he might think your weird, and not look your way. Next time you get this way around him, just take a breath and remember that he's just a guy, just like you're just a girl. i get the same with the guy i like i whenever i see him i get all nervous and literally cant take my eyes off him. im completely different with everyone else than i am with him. its really annoying because if i could show him the real me he would probably like me haha.





dont worry trust me EVERYBODY acts this way around the person they like (even guys) just keep telling yourself hes a real person just like you. just try and be yourself. talk to him and try to make good conversation.
Just relax, know that there are PLENTY of fish in the sea. What you fancy now will be nothing compaired to what you fancy later. Dont belive me? Walk around your local college campus. Use your school as good practice of being rejected and what to say.





In the end after school rarely do people talk anyways.
Wow, I understand. It's hard. But you really have to just be yourself. Pretend he is one of your buds. Then he might like you, 'cause he'll see how you don't mind being around him. How you don't freak out. Then maybe he'll like you too.
Go up to the guy and ask for a date.


Or tell him he IS going on a date with you.


Or tell him how you feel and let him ask you on a date.
I have the same problem, try thinking of something else pretend hes not their. try talking to somebody to keep him off your mind. Hope it helps some. good luck!

If you are doing distance learning...why care about any ';rules'; in India? Any ';rules'; that there may be are at the discretion of the learning establishments involved. Most will not let you work at more then one that THEY offer at the same time but if you do it through two different universities you will be fine. Then again, it's a pretty foolish thing to do just because of the work load. If you want to do two, do them one at a time and concentrate on what you are doing so that it's done right and you maximize your learning.





I'm working on a Masters right now through Athabasca University in Canada which specializes in distance learning. It's a fully accredited University that is very highly regarded here in Canada and with international students. In fact, they more or less set the standard for distance learning institutions.





While I'm only doing one Masters at this time my sister did a double Masters a few years ago. She did one in Crime and Intelligence Analysis through University of Edinburgh (Scotland), which they no longer offer, and a Master of Arts through Athabasca. As long as she was willing and able to pay for them AND handle the workload nobody cared.
You can get a two master degrees through distance learning but you need to enroll in different online university

Utube, Flicker and just typing Blog into your search criteria will give you many options. HGTV has many shows on selling/staging. Without even seeing a picture - the keys are neutral controls, rooms that flow, and decluttering = get rid of everything that reflects you, all personal items out. You can just go and look at model homes and see how they are staged. Best to use as little furniture as possible and keep your window treatments minimal. You want to move away so start packing now. Clean and neat from yard to rafters. Some nurseries sell color bowls/pots (collection of plants in one container) which you can place at the entrance or on a patio. Turn on some accent lights and light candles during showings.
