I am suffering from a fever, sore throat, and pink eye. Any advice on what i should be taking?

You may or may not need treatment for the pink eye. Pink eye can show up when you least expect it, and it is very contagious. There is more than one type of pink eye, and how you treat it depends on the type. If it is bacterial you need antibiotic ointment or drops. There is no particular treatment for viral pink eye. If it is an allergy that is causing your difficulty you may need anti-inflammatories or antihistamines. Frequent hand washing is crucial to prevent spreading the virus or bacteria, depending on which type you have.





For the fever and sore throat, you can take any of the over the counter meds for those symptoms if you want to take those kinds of things - Neo Citran or similar products. Drink plenty of fluids because you are losing fluids because of the fever. Gargle salt water to help the sore throat. Another way to help the sore throat is to sip salty soup, such as cup of soup - easier than gargling salt water.

You may have strep throat, causing a fever -


so get that looked after.


Rest, lots of fluids and warm compresses for the eye.

You need to see a doctor. You probably need some type of prescription antibiotic.
You need to see a doctor about the pink eye. It can be either bacterial or viral, %26amp; while the viral will eventaully wear itself out %26amp; go away, the bacterial variety cn do some damage. Your eyes are too important to take a chance..
