I am trying to be a physician. Can i have some advice on what to expect in the field.?

You don't sound like you've been to college yet. Talk about it after you spend a couple years there.





Expect lots of god complexes, pain with malpractice suits, pain with HMO's, long hours as a resident and in general, lots of struggles with nurses, and lots of benefits from drug reps in the form of free golf, dinners and sports tickets, though I hear some of those things have been cut back by law.I am trying to be a physician. Can i have some advice on what to expect in the field.?

If you are good you can get a lot of satisfaction out of helping people but it's a lot harder these days to get richI am trying to be a physician. Can i have some advice on what to expect in the field.?
Lots of hard work but it'll be very rewarding in the end. We could sure use more doctors around here! Get in touch with some medical students and seek their advice on how to prepare yourself. Good Luck!
