once you've done ur degree you can do a PCGE, 2 yr course in primary teaching. www.prospects.acuk.. great site, has all the courses in the U.k. check out the postgrad courses for PCGE around the country.
plus if u wanna be a primary school teacher you should get some hands on practise with young people, volunteer a few hours a week somewhere. that looks so good on applications.Hiya, i am currently studying english literature at leeds met. I want to be a primary teacher. Any advice?
Primary school teachers tend to need BEds, check with local primarys to see if they can take you on with an english lit and a different teaching qualification. Good luck
